Ecological continuities and urban structure
2010
A. Accotto
This is a site-based research on the Grésivaudan valley, an alpine corridor between Grenoble and Chambéry. This work develops some key aspects of large scale planning on a peri-urban area, such as the role of rail (or light rail) transport, the impact of ecological continuities and the general image of the territory.
It is based on a strong theoretical approach, with a continuous exchange between the local scale (the Grésivaudan) and the global scale (the theoretical research).
