Renovation project of a confiscated property

In Italy there is a law which states that properties confiscated from the organised crime should be reused for social purpose, with the aim of « giving them back » to the community. This properties are assigned to associations or to local authorities, who use them for anti-mafia educational activities, social promotion and agricultural production.

Cascina Caccia is a farm situated 40 km far from Turin. The project consist of the refurbishment of the existing structure. The main purpose of the project is to provide a living space for the community of young people who has decided to live in the house and animate the educational/agricultural activities that take place in the farm. The projet is conceived to be realized by steps, as new funding opportunities become available.
