PAV is an experimental and avantguard contemporary art centre in Turin. Its artistic activity is based on the relationship between art, ecology and nature. The aim of the project is to create a small artist residence in the park to host artists from all over the world during the summer.
The concept takes inspiration from a glacial erratic (= a piece of rock that is carried by glacial ice, often over distances of hundreds of kilometres and then left on site when the glacier retires). The three separated elements, made of wood structural panels, are issued from a process of formal simplification of a glacial erratic.
The projet will be constructed in spring 2015 during a public workshop.
